Terms & Conditions

 

Important information relating to COVID-19:

 

Owing to the nature of our treatment, hygiene and safety has always been the number one priority. We have always been practising safely with high standards to prevent the risk of spreading many transmissible diseases including but not limited to Hepatitis B and HIV. Keeping our workspace clean and sanitised following a rigorous routine is one of our many methods to create a safer environment for our clients.

 

In the light of the current pandemic, we have made additional changes to our clinics as well as our operation.

 

Clients attending the appointment must not have tested positive or been in contact with or living in the same household with anyone who has tested positive for the virus in the past 14 days. Additionally those are arriving from countries outside of the 'travel list' must self quarantine for 10 days upon their return accordingly to government guidance; their appointment has to be rebooked for after this period,

 

If you are self isolating please let us know as soon as you can, We will require to see the NHS text/email with information on your isolation time frame to offer suitable alternative dates thereafter.

 

We politely ask you to check your own temperature on the morning of your appointment and inform us immediately if you have a high reading which could indicate a possible fever, your appoinment will be rescheduled for the safety of all.

 

Please do not arrive earlier than agreed for your appointment and/or bring another person or child.

 

Please note that we do not have the capacity to provide masks for all clients, you are required  to have your own facial covering for your appointment.

 

We ask you to have this on throughout your session with the exception for lip procedures.

 

We thank you for your patience and understanding.

Candidates who are seeking permanent makeup and who may be contraindicated (meaning those that we cannot treat) are:

 

Under 18 years of age

Diabetes

Pegnant and lactating women

Retinol users

Glaucoma and people who are taking blood thinning medicines (e.g., aspirin, warfarin)

Skin diseases such as psoriasis, eczema and undiagnosed rashes or blisters on the site that is to be treated

Heart conditions or currently taking Aspirin, Warfarin, Vitamin E, St John's Wort, Steroids or other Cardiac medicines - including but not limited to ACE inhibitors, Aldosterine Inhibitors, Angiotensin II Receptor Blocker (ARBs), Beta-Blocker, calcium channel blockers, Digoxin, Inotropic Therapy or Vasodilators.

Allergies to makeup or pigments

Easily triggered post inflammatory hyperpigmentation

Tansmittable blood conditions like HIV or Hepatitis

Active skin cancer in the area to be tattooed

Haemophiliacs

Healing disorders, uncontrolled high blood pressure or had mitral valve disorder.

Skin medication such as ro-accutaine, antasure, steroids which thin and oversensitive the skin in the past 6 months

Radiotherapy or chemotherapy treatment at present (or due to undergo such treatment) and any radiotherapy or chemotherapy came to an end not less than 42 days ago from the date of the treatment

Epilepsy and has experienced a seizure in the last two years

Allergic reactions to topical anaesthetics.

Additional contraindications :

 

AHA’s (lactic, glycolic, citric, retinoic and tartaric acids) or any OTC creams and lotions for tone correcting, anti-aging, exfoliating, fading can discolour your permanent makeup.

Flu or Cold:  Please stay home, reschedule your appointment if you have cold or flu or sinus/respiratory infection.

Coumadin:  Amount of bleeding and response to topical epinephrine will determine coverage per appointment.

If excessive bleeding occurs, extra appointments may be necessary for desired outcome or procedure may not be effective.

Doctor's clearance may be necessary for any health conditions  you have that require medication.

Laser eye surgery:  Wait about 3 months for eyeliner procedure.  All other permanent makeup procedures are ok.

Juvederm or other "fillers":  Get permanent makeup first or ask your juvederm tech for clearance.

Shingles (varicella):  If you have shingles on your face, wait several months to get permanent makeup.

Eyelift or blepharoplasty:  Wait minimum 3 months.

Eyelash extensions: AFTER permanent makeup, not before. Or remove them before your eyes procedure.

Styes s- oon as their infection has cleared, medication completed.

Cold sores: Clients must take medication prior to lip procedure. This must be continued after the treatment.

A sensitivity skin test is required at least 24 hours prior to the treatment.

 

Please understand there are traces of nickel in some needles and pigments and that this may affect you if you have an allergy to nickel.  The skin test will not always confirm or determine conclusively if you have an allergy to nickel or whether you will have a reaction to the products used within the treatment which you have requested.

 

A deposit  will be required to reserve any single appointment at the time of the booking. This deposit will go towards the total price of your treatment.

 

The deposit is non-refundable if the appointment is cancelled or rescheduled in less than 7 days prior to the appointment time. In such situations the original deposit will NOT go towards the newly scheduled treatment.

 

The deposit is non-refundable for no-shows. If you are more than 15 minutes late to your appointment, it will be at the practitioner’s discretion to decide if you can go ahead with your treatment that day. If you are more than 30 minutes late to your appointment, you will lose your deposit and will need to rebook your appointment for another date, as well as paying a new deposit towards the new appointment.

 

Please note, you must arrive on time for a paid or complimentary arrangement as a late arrival to an appointment will have a knock-on effect on the rest of the appointment times thereafter.

 

The total remain cost of the treatment must be paid in  full at least 7 days before your booking date for the treatment.

 

We accept payment for treatment via bank transfer and/or debit card and/or (for a 3% surcharge) credit card (Visa and Mastercard only). We do not accept cheques.

Pictures and videos may be taken during your treatnent for reference purposes with your consent. They may be used by Emma Peters Pro Permanent Makeup by them only for marketing purposes on social media sites and on their webpage. We do not allow filming at any one point during the  appointment  for client's blogging purpose without prior negotiation.

 

A free follow up treatment is complimentary to the price of new treatments  and should be done within 4-6 weeks of initial treatment but no earlier than 4 weeks. It is the clients'  responsibility to book this treatment with enough notice as to enable us an adequate timeframe to schedule the followup treatment. Failure to do so will result in a charge incurred for the follow up session.

 

Each  new treatment is one session followed by a complimentary follow up treatment, the first being the initial procedure and the other complimentary session. The complimentary treatment is to fill in any gaps that did not take from the first session.

 

The second session  is not to change the shape or colour of initial treatment but if you wish to do so will be charged accordingly. On the rare occasion  a client may need  a third session due to having a skin type that is more resistant to the implantation of pigment or from incorrect aftercare taken and will be charged accordingly  -  for pricing details please refer to our price list.

Confidentiality

 

We agree to keep Your personal data strictly in accordance with the Provisions of the Data Protection Act 1980 and the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679.

 

Emma Peters Pro Permanent Makeup are committed to ensuring the security and protection of the personal information that we process and to provide a compliant and consistent approach to data protection.

 

Full information regarding how we use your data will be provided alongside these terms and conditions.

 

Personal data is defined by the General Data Protection Regulation (EU Regulation 2016/679) (the “GDPR”) as ‘any information relating to an identifiable person who can be directly or indirectly identified in particular by reference to an identifier’.

 

Information collected will be used solely for the purposes of providing background information when contacting you to arrange or to deliver products. We like to maintain a relationship with our Clients so we will hold your data for as long as we feel there is a legitimate interest to both parties, You may request that we delete your data at any time.

 

Emma Peters Pro Permanent Makeup may disclose your contact information to our business agents and service providers for the purposes above who may be located outside the EU.

You agree to keep any dispute or complaints which arise between Us strictly confidential between ourselves and our respective legal advisors and any mediator appointed.

Cancellation Policy And No Show Fee

 

At Emma Peters Pro Permanent Makeup we rely  on appointments being honoured by our clients, and adequate notice being given of any changes or cancellations. Accordingly, the following applies:

 

1. We reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee for any booking that is cancelled and No-Show without prior notice.

 

2. For all bookings, you must notify us of a cancellation or change of appointment at least 7 days prior to your booking.

 

3. Emma Peters Pro Permanent Makeup reserves the right to charge a cancellation and a no-show fee of £50 for any bookings

 

changed or cancelled within this 7-day notice period. This penalty is separate to your booking fee.

 

4. The cancellation fee reflects the cost incurred by Emma Peters Pro Permanent Makeup as lost revenue as a result of turning away  other potential bookings.

 

5. We will notify you if any cancellation fee is applied.

 

6. Any bookings which fail to turn up without any prior notice or arriving too late for the session, will also incur a £50.

 

We reserve the right to refuse our services at any one point.

Disclaimer:

We are pleased to offer you the services of our self-employed contractors for your aesthetic treatment needs. As a self-employed contractor, they are an independent business person and work for themselves. They are responsible for their own clients from the beginning of the consultation process, treatment procedure through to post treatment care. They also manage their own payments.

We have thoroughly vetted our contractors to ensure that they are qualified and capable of providing excellent services for our clients. However, it is important to note that as an independent contractor, they are not an employee of our company and do not represent our business. 

We encourage you to communicate openly with our contractors about your treatment needs, expectations, and any concern you may have. While they are not under our direct supervision, they are expected to adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as any UK and Local Authority Regulations related to their work, including holding their own public liability insurance.
