GLO Lip Dermal Filler

Non-Surgical Lip Enhancement using Dermal Fillers is a highly sought after procedure for all ages.

If you are seeking a natural enhancement for fuller and more defined lips, this treatment is for you. The procedure works by injecting Dermal Filler into the lips as well as the vermillion border (the edge/line around the lip) to create shape, as well as the philtrum (middle area of the upper lip) and Cupids bow.

We use Dermal Fillers composed of Hyaluronic Acid, which is a naturally occurring substance that is absorbed by the by the body, using this form of filler helps to add volume shape whilst not being permanent.

The treatment will support the shape of your lips and surrounding lip tissue, add definition, volume and fullness. Lines around the lip area will be improved which in turn will help to prevent lipstick from bleeding.

You may decide to upgrade this procedure by adding the lip blush treatment. This will result in a beautiful lip colour and contour as well as added volume. Your Lip Dermal filler will last approximately 6-12 months before another treatment is required.

Pre & Post-Treatment Advice

  • We offer complimentary consultations for those wanting to book for a Lip Dermal Filler treatment. This will ensure that you are a viable candidate for the procedure.

  • Please note that dermal fillers are not suitable for those who are pregnant, breastfeeding or those who bruise easily.

  • Your consultant will also consider your skin type and any allergies you may have.

  • If you are nervous about the treatment, knowing what is happening on the day and asking any questions that you may have in your consultation can help ease any concern.

  • A numbing cream is applied to the treatment area to make the experience as comfortable as possible.

  • The needles used are very small and the treatment usually only takes about 15 minutes, depending on the area being treated.

  • Do prep your skin. Prior to treatment, make sure to look after your skin and keep it in the best condition.

  • Follow a suitable skincare regime every day. Use SPF50, pre-and-post treatment, to protect your skin.

  • Eat pineapple if possible, as studies suggest the bromelain naturally found in pineapple can inhibit clot formation and therefore prevent bruising.

  • Avoid alcohol for 24 hours before treatment.

  • For a week before avoid blood thinners such as aspirin, Ibuprofen and Vitamin E, as well as certain food supplements such as fish oil, liquorice, garlic, ginger, ginkgo and green tea. Avoid sun and heat exposure

  • Dermal fillers are a non-surgical procedure so do not require a huge amount of downtime. However, it is normal for the skin at the site of the injection to react and some swelling, redness, slight pain, itching, discolouration and tenderness may occur.

  • These effects may last anywhere from 2-10 days so it is advisable to plan your schedule prior to treatment.

  • It is best to avoid any big work or social engagements for the week following the treatment.

  • Results will most likely be visible to you straight away, but can take up to seven days to fully settle.

  • We also advise you to allow time to sit and relax post treatment and to discuss the post-procedure care guidelines.

  • Avoid significant movement or massage of the treated area unless instructed by the provider.

  • Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours.

  • Avoid extensive sun or heat for 72 hours.

  • Avoid consuming excess amounts of alcohol or salts to avoid excess swelling. If you have swelling you may apply a cool compress for 15 minutes each hour.

  • Use paracetamol for discomfort.

  • Try to sleep face up and slightly elevated if you experience swelling.

  • Take Arnica to help the bruising and swelling, start at least 2 days prior to injections.

  • Although dermal filler results are temporary, they last longer than some other injectables and help enhance your natural beauty for longer. Depending on internal and external factors such as each individual’s skin type, lifestyle and age, dermal fillers can last anywhere from 6 to 12 months. They will not last forever, but they will give you a fuller, fresher and more youthful appearance for many months.

GLO Anti-Wrinkle Treatments

Dynamic movement of facial muscles can result in unwanted lines and wrinkles appearing on the face. Anti-wrinkle injections work by blocking impulses to the muscle resulting in a “relaxed” effect. This results in a youthful, more radiant facial appearance.

This procedure can be used to improve and soften lines on the forehead, In-between the eyebrows and around the eyes. If you would like to open the eye area, Anti wrinkle treatments can also create a subtle brow lift. Anti Wrinkle treatments help to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and to prevent the formation of wrinkles, softening your features and making your face look fresher and younger.

The procedure itself is simple and relatively pain free, with results taking up to two weeks to be effective and typically lasting around 12 weeks. Your treatment includes a complimentary review and top-up if required and must be taken 14-21 days after your initial treatment. For best results, this treatment should be repeated every 4 months.

Pre & Post-Treatment Advice

  • Do NOT consume alcoholic beverages at least 24 hours prior to treatment (alcohol may thin the blood and increase the risk of bruising).

  • Avoid anti-inflammatory/blood thinning medications, if possible for a period of 2 weeks before treatment.

  • Medications and supplements such as aspirin, vitamin E, ginkgo biloba, ginseng, St. John’s Wort, Omega 3/Fish Oil supplements, Ibuprofen, Motrin, Advil, Aleve and other NSAIDS have a blood thinning effect and can increase the risk of bruising and swelling after injections.

  • Schedule your anti wrinkle treatment at least 2 weeks prior to a special event which you may be attending, such as a wedding or holiday.

  • Results from your anti wrinkle injections will take approximately 4 to 7 days to appear. Bruising and swelling may be apparent in that time period.

  • Discontinue Retin-A 2 days before and 2 days after treatment.

  • Reschedule your appointment at least 24 hours in advance if you have a rash, cold sore or blemish on the area. If you have a history of cold sores please let your consultant know, they may recommend that you take anti-viral medication prior to treatment.

  • Be sure to have a good breakfast, including food and drink before your procedure. This will decrease the chances of feeling light headed during your treatment.

  • You are not a candidate if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

  • Do NOT manipulate the treated area for 3 hours following treatment.

  • Do NOT receive facial/laser treatments or microdermabrasion after anti wrinkle injections for at least 10 days.

  • Some providers believe that creating facial expressions right after anti wrinkle treatments helps the product find its way to the muscle into which it was injected after treated.

  • Do NOT lie down for 4-6 hours after your anti wrinkle treatment. This will prevent the product from tracking into the orbit of your eye and causing drooping eyelid.

  • It can take approximately 4 to 7 days for results to be seen. If the desired result is not seen after 2 weeks of your treatment you may need an additional treatment

  • You are charged for the amount of product used.

  • Do NOT perform activities involving straining, heavy lifting, or vigorous exercise for 6 hours after treatment. This will keep the product in the injected area and not elsewhere.

Meet our injectable moisturiser.

Juvenus is an injectable gel that is characterised by being colourless, elastic and resorbable. This gel is made from polymerised polynucleotides (PDRN) which are of natural origin. What is its greatest advantage? It restores tissue elasticity and moisturises the skin to make it look amazing. This injectable moisturiser joins the product portfolio of Croma-Pharma GmbH, an Austrian company that specialises in the industrial production of hyaluronic acid. In fact, Croma is one of the leading experts in this field throughout Europe.

What are the effects of Juvenus on the skin?

Juvenus is a product that has biochemical properties that noticeably improve skin elasticity. But that’s not all, it is also effective against the signs of ageing. Do you want to forget about wrinkles? Do you want to have a better skin tone? Do you want to maintain the natural firmness of your face?

Thanks to Juvenus, you can get it. Here’s how:

  • Moisturises: This injectable gel intensively hydrates your tissues thanks to its hydrophilic and polyanionic structure that allows PDRN to bind to water molecules.

  • It has an antioxidant effect: Juvenus protects you against free radicals that we all encounter in day-to-day living.

  • It creates an optimal environment for fibroblast growth: Thanks to the above two points, Juvenus contributes to the creation of an optimal physiological environment for fibroblast growth. What is the advantage of this? That the product stimulates the restoration of tissue elasticity.

Why would you choose Juvenus?

The positive effects of this injectable moisturizer treatment are undoubtedly extensive. You will notice the positive effects over the following days and weeks. The recommendation is a course of 3 treatments a month apart.

This product has unique properties that are suitable for both mature and young skin to highlight its best attributes. Another highlight of this gel is that it is registered under the standards of the European Union and its use is endorsed by different professionals of aesthetic medicine.
